The Lake Effect—a peculiar but predictable event occurring when we travel into Middlesex County at Kilometres 52-60 along the 402 between London and Sarnia. It is inevitable that whenever we drive along here (as we have already done 3 round trips), half of the nearby Great Lakes are scooped up and result in inevitable precipitation. Five of the six times this has been in the form of snow where the dusting of snow in Hamilton becomes the gusting of a blizzard along the highway. When the Lake Effect comes in the form of snow, we have witnessed others
sitting in the median after they slid off.
