Well, with only a few weeks under our belts at Mac and Bethel, we returned to Grand Rapids for the Worship Symposium. From Wednesday to late Saturday night, we went to Worship Symposium at Calvin. It was a great time to see Bill and Marilyn again, to hang out with the other 6 Bethelites with us, and just to be pumped up about the possibilities in planning.
One somewhat unexpected part of the trip was discovering that our car, Little Red, is on its last legs. A few times it let out a full-body shudder and other times it neglected to start, all the while leaving the check engine dash-light on even after we brought it in to the mechanics. But, even though we are beginning to prepare ourselves for Little Red's retirement, we made it safely throughout our 1,112 kilometre journey.
