in the weeks of advent, we have seen a different advent candle lit in 3 provinces and 1 state. on the roads between grand rapids, hamilton, vancouver and lacombe, we have stayed in 10 places since the first day of advent, and are filled with expectation. tonight is christmas eve and our journey towards celebrating Christ's first arrival is nearly here. at the same time, we are waiting. first, we are waiting for our next steps in hamilton to begin, but in a much greater sense we are waiting for our Hope to complete what He started so long ago. we are praying for joy in the journey, yet our hope drives us to long for our real home...come, Lord Jesus, come.
