A week later, we went down to Calgary to visit Opa Rauwerda, Grandpa and Grandma Vanderveen, Auntie Judy, and then we stayed with Uncle Ron and Auntie Linda. 
On Sunday morning, we went to Marantha CRC to celebrate with Dale Melenberg. After studying with Dale at Regent and then at Calvin Seminary, he was the first of our group to be ordained in the CRC.
And after the church service, Mark and I hopped into his pickup and drove out to Chilliwack. For Mark it was the end of a 2 week holiday out in Alberta. For me it was a great way to spend some quality time with my brother-in-law and a way to get to a Preaching Conference in Sumas, Washington. By Tuesday morning @ 6:30 am, I was flying back to Alberta.
